Team Building Starts For 2012

Keith Denham has announced that team building for 2012 has started with the signing of Kyle Howarth as first reserve on a 4.32 average.

Kyle had finished the season riding for Edinburgh Monarchs but was keen to join the Comets.

"Kyle is really excited about joining the Comets" said Keith, "he's over in Australia at the moment where he has just won the Queensland Under 21 Championship but was really keen to finalise a deal with the Comets following his good showing at Press and Practice last season and also as part of the Northern Select Team when we hosted the double header with the American Touring Team"

Keith has also indicted that negotiations for the remainder of the team are well advanced and hopefully we will be in a position to announce the majority of the team towards the end of the week.
