Rich Lawson Back For 2012

Keith Denham has confirmed that the signing of Rich Lawson has been a done deal for most of the week.

"Richard has really impressed me with the way he has improved in 2011 and was always first on the team sheet for 2012" Keith said.

"I'm really pleased with the way he rides Derwent Park and his performances at away tracks has been a great boost for the Comets when we were depleted in numbers, especially pleasing was his performance at Glasgow when he broke the track record".

Rich was a major winner of awards at the end of season Presentation Evening and received a huge cheer when he stated that he would love to be back at Derwent Park for 2012.

He finished the 2011 season with some huge scores that have seen his average rise to 7.86, a full 2.5 point increase on his starting average for the season.
